Mold is a common indoor air quality concern. Mold spores are found everywhere in the environment and will readily grow in moist environments. However, there are currently no mold safety standards at the federal, state, or local level. As there are no standards or regulations, EH does not perform mold testing nor take enforcement action for air quality issues related to mold.
