NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING


NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Cascade County Planning Board will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 9:00 AM in Room 105 of the Courthouse Annex located at 325 2nd Avenue North, Great Falls, MT 59401, and via Zoom (an online platform). The Board will consider the Preliminary Plat Application for Amended Plat of Lot 141 of Fort Shaw Townsite a minor subdivision consisting of 2 Lots. The legal description is Parcel No. 2022136, having Geocode 02-3011-12-2-15-09-0000, being located on Lot 141 of the Fort Shaw Original Townsite Section 12, Township 20 North, Range 2 West, PMM, Cascade County, MT.

The application materials are on file for public inspection at the office of the Cascade County Planning & GIS Department, 121 4th St N, Suite 2 H/I, Great Falls, MT 59401. Information for connecting via Zoom can be found on the calendar at www.cascadecountymt.gov. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Cascade County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 9:00 AM at Room 105 of the Courthouse Annex located at 325 2nd Ave. N., Great Falls, MT 59401, and via Zoom (an online platform). The Board will consider a Zoning Change Application, ZC #2023-003, submitted by Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana to rezone the following described properties from the Suburban Residential (SR-1) District to the Urban Residential (UR) District:

• A tract of land located in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 34, Township 21 North, Range 03 East, P.M.M., Cascade County, Montana, with Parcel No. 2591700 having Geocode 02-3138-34-4-01-01-0000;

• A tract of land located in the W 1/2 of Section 34, Township 21 North, Range 03 East P.M.M, Cascade County, Montana, with Parcel No. 2591600 with Geocode 02-3138-34-1-01-01-0000; and

• A portion of a tract of land located in the SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 27, Township 21 North, Range 03 East, P.M.M., Cascade County, Montana, having Parcel No. 2581600 with Geocode 02-3138-27-1-01-02-0000.

The materials, including a vicinity map, are on file for public inspection at the office of the Cascade County Planning & GIS Department at 121 4th St. N., Suite 2H/I, Great Falls, MT 59401, and in the office of the Cascade County Clerk and Recorder at 121 4th St N, #1B-1, Great Falls, MT 59401. Any interested person may appear and speak for or against the proposed zoning change. Written public comment may be submitted to the Department by mail, emailed to [email protected], or during the public hearing.
