Cascade County Aging Services operates a Durable Medical Equipment donation program by accepting donations of small, well cared for, and clean durable medical items from anyone who wishes to donate them to the the agency. To donate items, please call 454-6990 to arrange for a donation time. The items we will accept for donation are:
- Walkers - all types, including seated and wheeled walkers
- Bath Chairs & Benches
- Bed Side Commodes
- Toilet Seat Risers
- Wheelchairs - we do not accept power chairs and scooters
- Incontinence Supplies -- we will accept unopened bags only including body wipes, underwear, bed pads and other items
- Canes/Crutches
- Small ADL's - gait belts, grabbers, shoe horns, shoe don/doffing and other similar items
We cannot accept hospital beds, Hoyer and other large lifts, customized braces or chairs, shoes, electric scooters or wheel chairs or items that are worn and beyond repair. We also do not accept sharps and other diabetic related care items.
If you are looking to take any of the items above on loan, we will lend you the item free of charge for as long as you need it. In the case of the Incontinence Supplies, we will give these items to you for no charge. Items are not always in stock and are available first come, first served.
