Special Formula for Infants May Require a Prescription
At your first appointment, your paperwork will be reviewed, some basic measurements will be taken, you will meet with our health educator, and you'll receive your WIC food benefits.
These classes will teach participants more about:
- Complete each class and receive a certificate and free cookbook!
- How to plan meals
- Nutritious foods
- Safe food preparation and storage
- Shopping for you and your family
Note: Bring your child/children to the WIC appointment. Please bring immunization record for all children on WIC.
WIC Benefits Include
- Access to health care programs plus referral to private and public health care providers if needed
- Breastfeeding education and support.
- Food vouchers for supplemental, highly nutritious foods such as iron-fortified cereal, milk and cheese, eggs, 100% juice, peanut butter, canned or dried beans, infant formula, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains
