About the Review
Our review addresses:
- Drinking water
- Sewer services
- Solid waste disposal
- Storm water drainage
Parcels greater than 160 acres are exempt from review.
The Cascade County Planning Division reviews subdivisions for compliance with the Montana Subdivision and Platting Act and Cascade County Subdivision Regulations.
Starting the Process
Anyone interested in subdividing land should contact the County Planning Division first at 406-454-6905 to initiate the review process. County Planning and City-County Health coordinate their subdivision reviews for compliance with all subdivision regulations. Although not required, most developers choose consultants to assist them with the subdivision review process.
