What is a Food Service Establishment?
Any operation that stores, prepares, packages, serves, vends or otherwise provides food for human consumption. Foods may be consumed at the establishment, delivered, or picked up by the consumer. This definition applies whether or not there is a charge for the food.
CCHD Environmental Health Division (EH) licenses, inspects, and enforces state rules for multiple food service programs, including:
