Family Health Services Message Regarding COVID-19

Due to COVID-19 the following precautionary measures are being taken to prevent unnecessary exposure for staff and families we serve:

CCHD Family Health Services Division – Maternal Child Health Services

Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, we are preventing unnecessary exposure for staff, as well as the families and children we serve. The following precautionary measures are being taken:

  • WIC (Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program)
    • The Cascade County WIC office is continuing to provide appointments by phone or virtual means. We are taking appointments for new clients and already enrolled clients.

  • Home Visiting (Parents as Teachers, First Year Initiative, SafeCare, Montana Asthma Program)
    • All programs are continuing services to clients. Visits are done by phone or by video conferencing. It is our goal to continue to provide as many new and current families with the resources they need. 
    • Please call 406-454-6950 to inquire about our services.
  • Car Seat Program
    • We provide car seat checks by appointment only, and we provide car seats to those who meet eligibility requirements. 
    • Please call 791-9298 for information or to schedule an appointment.
  • Circle of Security Parenting Classes
    • We are providing the parenting classes in select small groups and/or individually.
    • Please call Stacy at 761-9896.
  • CONNECT Referral System
    • Agency and provider onboarding is ongoing.

  • Foster Child Health Program
    • Program nurses continue to provide services to foster parents and children. 
    • Please call Kim at 406-761-9888.
  • Oral Health Education Program
    • Provides oral health education to children in kindergarten, second, and fourth grades. School dental screenings are provided to children in first, third, and fifth grades.  
    • School Dental Screenings are currently on hold due to COVID-19.
